Meet Ella

Ella Gordon is a dancer, singer, and actor originally from Wilmington, NC.

Based in NYC, Ella works and trains at the iconic dance studio, Steps on Broadway. She takes classes with instructors including Jessica Lee Goldyn, Shannon Lewis, Debbie Roshe, Billy Griffin, Dana Moore, Lloyd Culbreath, Heather Hawk, Lisa Lockwood, Michelle Cave, and Andrew Black.

Some of Ella’s favorite credits include R&H’s Cinderella, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Damn Yankees, and Guys and Dolls.

Ella is also the Creator and Founder of E-Broadway, an online-based Musical Theatre training company that introduces young artists to the Broadway industry. Ella began developing the company in May of 2020 and launched her first program the following June. She had nine students in her eight-week program and launched her four-week program, titled E-Broadway Boost, in August of 2020. The program would not be anywhere without her wonderful team of six, which includes Broadway performers, physical therapists, and other industry professionals. To learn more, visit the E-Broadway website, Facebook page, or Instagram, @ebroadway_

When she’s not checking dancers in for class, setting up virtual classes, training, or performing, you can find her on the yoga mat, in a SoulCycle class, hanging out at a local coffee shop, or working with her amazing students.

Ella is endlessly grateful to her parents for their support, her teachers for encouraging her to be uncomfortable, and the Wilmington theatre community for believing in her dreams and taking a chance on a fourteen-year-old ballerina.

What’s the best that could happen?

Ella’s favorite quote:

“Love is the strongest frequency in the Universe. It will win in every battle you face, but it’s up to you. It’s Your Love, Your Energy…it’s YOUR Universe. You make it happen. When it clicks, it’s actual magic. That’s when your dream comes true.”
